Ortigia is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and in time has inspired poets, producers and historical characters to write about it.

Among its streets you can get lost, admiring churches, courtyards, temples and fountains, during your walks, and you can have the possibility of admiring the sunset from the seafront.
But the history continue underground, because Ortigia also has a long history as an underground island, including air-raid shelters, spiritual baths and catacombs.
